Flight Instructor

The successful candidate will instruct pilots in accordance with aviation regulations and FlightSafety Training principles.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The role requires the regular use of hands for various tasks, including manipulating objects, tools, and controls. The employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, or smell.

Physical capabilities must include the range of body motion necessary to operate rudder controls, anti-torque pedals, and simulator controls. This includes the ability to enter and exit the simulator, move between instructor stations, and egress from a malfunctioning simulator. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

The work environment involves frequent proximity to moving mechanical parts. The employee may work in high, precarious places, and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation, and vibration.
