Ground School Pilot Instructor - FlightSafety International, Paris

This position presents an exciting opportunity to join FlightSafety International's Paris Center, a hub for comprehensive training on a diverse range of aircraft, including Dassault, Embraer, and Pilatus models.
Purpose of Position:
The Ground School Pilot Instructor is responsible for delivering theoretical knowledge instruction to pilots for initial type rating and recurrent training, both in the classroom and utilizing various flight training devices.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining all training materials (various media forms) in a current state at all times.
- Occupying the copilot position when required (if holder of a pilot license).
- Performing administrative duties related to training, including:
- Preparing for the delivery of training.
- Maintaining accurate training records.
- Monitoring student progress.
- Contributing to training development and program maintenance.
- Reporting to the Director of Training.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Relevant aviation background, such as engineering, flight engineer, flight navigator (military experience is welcomed), or EASA Frozen ATPL.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Legally authorized to work in Europe and relocate to the Paris/Le Bourget area.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Regular lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, with frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
- Frequent work near moving mechanical parts.
- Potential for work in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions.
- Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation, and vibration.
