The Flight Instructor plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional ground and simulator flight instruction, adhering to stringent aviation regulations and FlightSafety Training principles. This role directly contributes to the development of highly skilled and competent aviators.
This role requires physical dexterity and the ability to operate simulator controls, including rudder and anti-torque pedals, using both feet. Instructors must be able to access and maneuver within the simulator environment, including entering and exiting via a ramp and moving between the instructor station, screen, and podium.
The work environment may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, and outdoor weather conditions. Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, extreme temperatures, electrical hazards, and vibration may occur.
