The Role

FTE Jerez is actively seeking highly qualified and motivated aviation professionals to join its esteemed team as Flight Instructors. The successful candidate will play a critical role in training the next generation of professional pilots, upholding the rigorous standards for which FTE Jerez is globally recognized.

Essential Candidate Requirements

Applicants must strictly adhere to the following minimum standards and possess all specified valid certifications:

  • License Requirement: The candidate must hold a valid European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) license. Essential ratings include Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Flight Instructor (FI), Instrument Rating (IR), and Multi-Engine (ME) qualifications.
  • Minimum Flight Hours: A minimum of 500 hours of documented Pilot in Command (PIC) time is mandatory.
  • Instructional Experience: A documented minimum of 200 hours of dedicated flight instruction experience is required.
  • Medical Certification: The candidate must possess a current EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • English Proficiency: ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 or higher is required.
  • Type Rating: A specific aircraft type rating is not required for application, as comprehensive type rating training will be provided by FTE Jerez.

Desirable Qualifications

While not mandatory, applicants possessing the following qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) qualifications.
  • Instrument Rating Instructor (IRI) qualifications.
  • Multi-Engine Class Rating Instructor (ME CRI) qualifications.
  • Additional instructional accreditations such as CPL Flight Examiner (CPL FE), Instrument Rating Examiner (IRE), Flight Instructor Course Instructor (FIC), or Flight Instructor Examiner (FIE) qualifications.
