Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate the Airbus A350 aircraft in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), aviation regulations, and international standards.
- Provide professional support and assistance to the Captain during all phases of flight, including pre-flight planning, in-flight operations, and post-flight duties.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of aircraft systems, emergency procedures, and operational manuals.
- Ensure the highest levels of passenger comfort, safety, and security.
- Actively participate in Crew Resource Management (CRM) initiatives and foster a positive, collaborative cockpit environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and regulatory requirements, contributing to an impeccable safety record.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) or fATPL (frozen ATPL) issued by a recognized ICAO/EASA authority.
- Possession of a valid Airbus A350 Type Rating, or the demonstrated qualifications and willingness to obtain the rating upon employment.
- Minimum specified total flight hours, with a significant portion on multi-engine, multi-crew turbine aircraft.
- Current Class 1 Medical Certificate without restrictions that would preclude safe flight operations.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, meeting or exceeding ICAO Level 4 requirements.
- Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and adherence to operational protocols.
- Eligibility to live and work in Mauritius, or a willingness to relocate for the position.
