Executive Jet Management Seeks Pilot in Command for Challenger 350
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and pioneer in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pilot in Command for a Challenger 350 aircraft based in Miami, FL (KOPF).
About the Role
As a Pilot in Command (PIC), you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a Challenger 350, ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience. This is a two-pilot account operating under Part 135 regulations and supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety:
- Ensure crewing and trip assignments comply with all regulations.
- Conduct thorough flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks.
- Lead pre-flight briefings utilizing the Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology.
- Maintain strict adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct comprehensive pre-flight inspections and accurately document any discrepancies.
- Oversee aircraft ground servicing procedures.
- Deliver thorough passenger briefings, prioritizing safety and addressing individual needs.
- Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles for effective communication during all phases of flight.
- Service Excellence:
- Provide exceptional service to aircraft owners and passengers.
- Proactively identify and resolve service issues to ensure a seamless and positive experience.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow crew members and EJM personnel to maintain service consistency.
- Professionalism:
- Stay current with all regulatory and company-mandated training requirements.
- Actively participate in the company's Safety Management System (SMS), reporting any safety concerns or non-compliance issues.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in corporate/business aviation preferred.
- FAA Type rating in the Challenger 350.
- Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
