Position Overview

The Accelerated Command Pilot role offers a distinctive career path for experienced First Officers to join Emirates on either Boeing or Airbus aircraft. Successful candidates will commence as a First Officer with an enhanced compensation package and will be eligible for an accelerated command upgrade, contingent upon meeting performance standards, successful assessment, and completion of an upgrade course.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 5,000 hours total flying time (excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft).
• Minimum of 2,000 hours command time on fixed-wing, multi-crew commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 50 tonnes.
• Currently flying as Captain with a minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot In Command (PIC) on either Boeing or Airbus aircraft.
• Minimum of 150 hours on type within the last 12 months.
• Possession of a valid ICAO Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a corresponding Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above.

Salary Information

Starting salary for Accelerated Command Pilots is AED 31,640 (approximately USD 8,621) per month, excluding flight pay.
