Position Overview
The Accelerated Command program offers Senior First Officers an enhanced salary package with an accelerated pathway to command. Successful candidates will join the Emirates flight deck and, upon meeting required standards and successfully completing an assessment and upgrade course, will be eligible for accelerated command.
Role Requirements
- Minimum of 5000 hours total flying time (excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft).
- Minimum of 2000 hours command time on fixed-wing, multi-crew commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) greater than 50 tonnes.
- Must currently be flying as a Captain with a minimum of 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on either Boeing or Airbus aircraft.
- Minimum of 150 hours on type within the past 12 months.
- Valid ICAO ATPL with a matching Authority Class 1 Medical certificate.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above.
