Position Overview
The Accelerated Command program provides a unique opportunity for Senior First Officers to join Emirates on an enhanced salary package with a clear pathway to command. Successful candidates, upon meeting performance standards and successfully completing an assessment process and upgrade course, will be eligible for accelerated command.
Role Requirements
To be considered for the Accelerated Command program, candidates must meet the following stringent criteria:
- Minimum of 5,000 total flying hours (excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft).
- Minimum of 2,000 command hours on fixed-wing, multi-crew commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) greater than 50 tonnes.
- Current flying experience as a Captain with a minimum of 1,000 hours PIC (Pilot in Command) on either Boeing or Airbus aircraft.
- Minimum of 150 hours on type within the past 12 months.
- A valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) with a matching Authority Class 1 Medical certificate.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
