Emirates Accelerated Command Pilot

About the Role

The Accelerated Command program offers a unique pathway for highly qualified pilots to advance their careers. As a Senior First Officer, you will be integrated into the Emirates flight deck on an enhanced salary package. The program includes an accelerated command upgrade scenario, contingent upon meeting established standards and demonstrating the required performance levels. Successful candidates will be eligible for accelerated command through a dedicated assessment process and upgrade course.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Boeing or Airbus aircraft as a Senior First Officer.
Participate in the accelerated command upgrade process.
Maintain the highest standards of flight operations and professionalism.

Role Requirements

To be considered for this Accelerated Command program, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

Minimum of 5,000 hours total flying time (excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft).
Minimum of 2,000 hours command time on fixed-wing, multi-crew commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) greater than 50 tonnes.
Currently flying as a captain with a minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) on either Boeing or Airbus aircraft.
Minimum of 150 hours on type within the past 12 months.
Valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) with a matching Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above.

The minimum starting salary for the Accelerated Command position is AED 31,640 (USD 8,621) per month, excluding flight pay.
