Accelerated Command Program: Description
This unique program offers Senior First Officers the chance to join Emirates on our Boeing or Airbus fleets with a highly competitive salary package and an accelerated path to command. Successful candidates, upon meeting Emirates' stringent standards and demonstrating exceptional performance throughout an assessment process, will be eligible for accelerated command upgrade via a dedicated training course.
Role Requirements
To be considered for the Emirates Accelerated Command program, prospective candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Minimum of 5,000 total flying hours (excluding P3, rotary-wing, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft categories).
- Minimum of 2,000 command hours on fixed-wing, multi-crew commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 50 tonnes.
- Must currently be flying as a Captain with a minimum of 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on either Boeing or Airbus aircraft.
- Minimum of 150 flight hours within the past 12 months on the relevant aircraft type.
- A valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) accompanied by a matching Authority Class 1 Medical certificate.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
Compensation and Benefits
The remuneration for the Accelerated Command position includes a base salary of AED 31,640 (approximately USD 8,621) per month, exclusive of flight pay. In addition to this competitive base, Emirates offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
