Position Overview: Accelerated Command

The Accelerated Command program offers Senior First Officers the chance to join Emirates on an enhanced salary package with a clear pathway to command. Successful candidates, upon meeting required standards and demonstrating the necessary performance levels, will be eligible for accelerated command through a structured assessment and upgrade course.

Salary Information

• Accelerated Command Base Salary: AED 31,640 (USD 8,621) per month, excluding flight pay.

Role Requirements

To be considered for the Emirates Accelerated Command program, candidates must meet the following stringent criteria:

• Minimum of 5,000 total flying hours (excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft).
• Minimum of 2,000 command hours on fixed-wing, multi-crew commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) greater than 50 tonnes.
• Currently flying as a Captain with a minimum of 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours on either Boeing or Airbus aircraft.
• Minimum of 150 hours flown on type within the past 12 months.
• Valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) with a current and matching Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above.
