Minimum Salary Information

The starting salary for the Accelerated Command position is AED 31,640 (USD 8,621) per month, exclusive of flight pay.

Position Overview: Accelerated Command

This accelerated command program presents a unique opportunity for Senior First Officers to join Emirates. Successful candidates will be appointed as Boeing or Airbus First Officers on an attractive salary package, with a clearly defined pathway for accelerated command. Upon meeting the required performance standards and successfully completing an assessment process, pilots will be eligible for a command upgrade through a structured upgrade course.

Role Requirements

To be considered for Emirates' Accelerated Command program, candidates must meet the following stringent experience criteria:

• A minimum of 5,000 total flying hours. Hours logged in P3, rotary-wing, or single/multi-engine piston aircraft are excluded.
• A minimum of 2,000 command hours on fixed-wing, multi-crew commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 50 tonnes.
• Must currently be employed as a Captain and possess a minimum of 1,000 Pilot-In-Command (PIC) hours on either Boeing or Airbus aircraft.
• A minimum of 150 flying hours within the past 12 months on the relevant aircraft type.
• A valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) with a corresponding Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Proficiency in English, with an ICAO English Language Proficiency Level of 5 or above.
