Role Requirements for Accelerated Command Program
Prospective candidates for the Emirates Accelerated Command program must meet the following stringent experience criteria:
- A minimum of 5,000 total flying hours. Exclusions apply to P3, rotary-wing, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft time.
- A minimum of 2,000 command hours on fixed-wing, multi-crew commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 50 tonnes.
- Current employment as a Captain, with a minimum of 1,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours on either Boeing or Airbus aircraft types.
- A minimum of 150 hours logged on type within the past 12 months.
- A valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) with a corresponding Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
