Compensation and Benefits

Minimum Salary

The minimum salary for an Accelerated Command position is AED 31,640 (approximately USD 8,621), excluding flight pay.

Position Description

This Accelerated Command role offers a distinctive pathway for Senior First Officers to join Emirates with an enhanced salary package, leading to a swift command upgrade. Successful candidates, demonstrating the required performance and adherence to Emirates’ esteemed standards, will be eligible for Captaincy through a structured assessment process and upgrade course.

Role Requirements

To qualify for the Accelerated Command program, candidates must possess the following experience and qualifications:

• A minimum of 5,000 hours of total flying time (excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft).
• A minimum of 2,000 hours of command time on fixed-wing, multi-crew commercial jet aircraft with an MTOW (Maximum Take-Off Weight) greater than 50 tonnes.
• Applicants must currently be flying as Captain and possess a minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on either Boeing or Airbus aircraft.
• A minimum of 150 hours on type within the last 12 months.
• Possession of a valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) with a corresponding Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above.
