The Accelerated Command Program

Minimum Role Requirements

To be considered for the Emirates Accelerated Command Program, candidates must meet the following stringent criteria:

• A minimum of 5,000 hours total flying time (excluding P3, rotary-wing, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft).
• A minimum of 2,000 hours command time on fixed-wing, multi-crew commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 50 tonnes.
• Must currently be flying as a Captain and possess a minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) on either Boeing or Airbus aircraft.
• A minimum of 150 hours on type within the last 12 months.
• A valid ICAO Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL) coupled with a matching Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above.
