Essential Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for the Emirates Accelerated Command program, candidates must meet the following stringent requirements:

• A minimum of 5,000 hours total flying time (excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft).
• At least 2,000 hours of command time on fixed-wing, multi-crew commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) greater than 50 tonnes.
• Currently flying as a Captain, with a minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time on either Boeing or Airbus aircraft.
• A minimum of 150 hours on type within the last 12 months.
• Possession of a valid ICAO Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a corresponding Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
