Direct Entry Captain – Airbus Fleet (A380/A350)

Role Requirements
To qualify for the Airbus Direct Entry Captain position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Minimum 7,000 hours of total flying time (excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft).

For A380 candidates: Must currently be flying as an Airbus Fly-By-Wire (FBW) Captain with a minimum of 3,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on Airbus FBW aircraft.

For A350 candidates: Must have a minimum of 3,000 hours command time on a multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) greater than 50 tonnes, including a minimum of 1,500 hours as a Captain on an Airbus FBW aircraft.

Minimum of 150 hours flown on type within the previous 12 months.

A valid ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a corresponding Authority Class 1 Medical.

ICAO English Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
