Emirates is actively recruiting Airbus Rated Direct Entry Captains to join their A380 and A350 fleets, based in Dubai, UAE. This opportunity is for motivated pilots ready to be part of Emirates' flight deck during a period of significant growth and ambition, commanding a modern fleet of aircraft.

Role Overview

The Direct Entry Captain assumes the most senior position, taking command of the aircraft. This role contributes to Emirates' award-winning service, providing high-quality air transport across six continents.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 7000 hours total flying time (excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft).
  • **For A380:** Must currently be flying as an Airbus FBW Captain with a minimum of 3000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) on Airbus FBW aircraft.
  • **For A350:** Minimum 3000 hours command time on a multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with an MTOW of >50T. A minimum of 1500 hours must be as a Captain on an Airbus FBW aircraft.
  • Minimum 150 hours in the past 12 months on type.
  • A valid ICAO ATPL with a matching Authority Class 1 Medical certificate.
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above.
