Position Description
Direct Entry Captain: Assume command of the aircraft in this senior role within the flight operations team.
Role Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 7000 hours total flying time (excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft).
- For A380 positions: Must be currently flying as an Airbus FBW Captain with a minimum of 3000 hours PIC on Airbus FBW aircraft.
- For A350 positions: Must possess a minimum of 3000 hours command time on a multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) greater than 50 tonnes. A minimum of 1500 hours must be as a Captain on an Airbus FBW aircraft.
- Minimum 150 hours on type within the past 12 months.
- A valid ICAO ATPL with a matching Authority Class 1 Medical certificate.
- ICAO English language proficiency level 5 or above.
