Position Overview

The role of Direct Entry Captain places individuals in the most senior command position, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.

Remuneration and Benefits

Minimum Salary: Captain = AED 40,100 (USD 10,926) – exclusive of flight pay.

Role Requirements

To be considered for these esteemed Airbus Captain positions, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

A minimum of 7,000 total flying hours (excluding P3, rotary-wing, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft operations).
For A380: Current employment as an Airbus FBW Captain with a minimum of 3,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours on Airbus FBW aircraft.
For A350: A minimum of 3,000 command hours on a multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 50 tonnes. Of these hours, a minimum of 1,500 must be as Captain on an Airbus FBW aircraft.
A minimum of 150 flying hours on type within the past 12 months.
A valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) accompanied by an Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
