Remuneration

Minimum Salary: Captain = AED 40,100 (USD 10,926) per month, exclusive of flight pay.

Position Overview

Direct Entry Captain: This role offers the most senior command position within the flight deck, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.

Essential Role Requirements

To be considered for this Direct Entry Captain position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of 7,000 total flying hours, excluding time in P3, rotary-wing, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft.
• For the A380 fleet: Current operational experience as an Airbus Fly-by-Wire (FBW) Captain with a minimum of 3,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours on Airbus FBW aircraft.
• For the A350 fleet: A minimum of 3,000 command hours on a multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 50 tonnes. A minimum of 1,500 of these hours must be as a Captain on an Airbus FBW aircraft.
• A minimum of 150 flight hours on the relevant aircraft type within the past 12 months.
• A valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) coupled with an Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Proficiency in English, demonstrated by an ICAO English Level 5 or higher.
