Compensation and Benefits
Minimum Base Salary: Captain - AED 40,100 (USD 10,926) per month, excluding flight pay.

Position Description
Direct Entry Captain: This role represents the most senior command position, with ultimate responsibility for the aircraft and its passengers.
Role Requirements
To be considered for an Airbus Captain position with Emirates, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 7,000 total flying hours. Exclusions apply to P3 time, rotary-wing operations, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft.
- For A380 Captains: Current employment as an Airbus Fly-By-Wire (FBW) Captain with a minimum of 3,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on Airbus FBW aircraft.
- For A350 Captains: A minimum of 3,000 hours command time on a multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 50 tonnes. A minimum of 1,500 of these hours must be as a Captain on an Airbus FBW aircraft.
- A minimum of 150 hours on the relevant aircraft type within the preceding 12 months.
- A valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) accompanied by a current Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
