Compensation and Benefits

Minimum Salary (Base):

Captain: AED 40,100 (approximately USD 10,926) per month, excluding flight pay.

Position Description

Direct Entry Captain: This role places the successful candidate in the most senior command position, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.

Role Requirements

To be considered for a Direct Entry Captain position on the Airbus fleet, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

• A minimum of 7,000 hours of total flying time (excluding P3 time, rotary-wing, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft).
• For A380: Current flying experience as an Airbus Fly-By-Wire (FBW) Captain is mandatory, with a minimum of 3,000 hours of Pilot-In-Command (PIC) time on Airbus FBW aircraft.
• For A350: A minimum of 3,000 hours of command time on a multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 50 tonnes. Of these hours, a minimum of 1,500 hours must be as Captain on an Airbus FBW aircraft.
• Minimum of 150 hours on the relevant aircraft type within the past 12 months.
• A valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) along with a corresponding Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Proficiency in English, meeting ICAO Level 5 or above.
