Compensation and Benefits

Minimum Base Salary:

Captain: AED 40,100 (approximately USD 10,926) per month, excluding flight pay.

Role Description

Direct Entry Captain:

This position represents the most senior command role within the flight deck, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Emirates' aircraft.

Minimum Role Requirements

To be considered for these prestigious Airbus Captain positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of 7,000 total flying hours. Exclusions apply to P3 time, rotary-wing, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft experience.
• For A380 Fleet: Current command experience as an Airbus FBW Wide Body Captain is mandatory, with a minimum of 3,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours on Airbus FBW Wide Body aircraft.
• For A350 Fleet: A minimum of 3,000 command hours on a multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 50 tonnes. At least 1,500 of these hours must be as a Captain on an Airbus FBW Wide Body aircraft.
• Minimum of 150 hours on the relevant aircraft type within the past 12 months.
• A valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) is required, along with a matching Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency level 5 or higher.
