Role Overview:

As a Direct Entry Captain, the incumbent will assume the senior command position in the aircraft, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Emirates flights. This role represents a significant career advancement, offering the chance to lead operations with a modern, expanding fleet.

Key Role Requirements:

To be considered for this prestigious position, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

• A minimum of 7,000 total flying hours. (Exclusions apply to P3, rotary-wing, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft time).
• For A380 Fleet: Current command experience as an Airbus FBW Wide Body Captain with a minimum of 3,000 Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours on Airbus FBW Wide Body aircraft.
• For A350 Fleet: A minimum of 3,000 command hours on a multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 50 tonnes. A minimum of 1,500 hours must be as Captain on an Airbus FBW Wide Body aircraft.
• A minimum of 150 flying hours on the specific aircraft type within the preceding 12 months.
• A valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence).
• A current and valid Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
