The minimum base salary for a Captain is AED 40,100 (approximately USD 10,926), exclusive of flight pay.

Description of the Position

As a Direct Entry Captain, the successful candidate will assume the most senior position in command of the aircraft, responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of Emirates' state-of-the-art Airbus A380 or A350 aircraft.

Role Requirements

To qualify as an Airbus Direct Entry Captain with Emirates, candidates must meet the following stringent criteria:

Minimum of 7,000 hours total flying time, excluding P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft experience.
For the Airbus A380 fleet: Candidates must currently be flying as an Airbus Fly-By-Wire (FBW) Wide Body Captain and possess a minimum of 3,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) on Airbus FBW Wide Body aircraft.
For the Airbus A350 fleet: Candidates must possess a minimum of 3,000 hours command time on a multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 50 tonnes. A minimum of 1,500 hours must be as a Captain on an Airbus FBW Wide Body aircraft.
A minimum of 150 hours on type within the last 12 months.
Possession of a valid ICAO Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a corresponding Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
Demonstrated ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or above.
