Role Requirements:

To be considered for a Direct Entry Captain position on Emirates' Airbus fleet, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Minimum 7,000 hours total flying time (excluding hours on P3, rotary, and single/multi-engine piston aircraft).
For the A380 fleet, candidates must currently be flying as an Airbus FBW Wide Body Captain and possess a minimum of 3,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time on Airbus FBW Wide Body aircraft.
For the A350 fleet, candidates must have a minimum of 3,000 hours command time on a multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) greater than 50 tonnes. A minimum of 1,500 of these hours must be as a Captain on an Airbus FBW Wide Body aircraft.
Minimum 150 hours flying time accumulated within the past 12 months on type.
Possession of a valid ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) accompanied by a matching Authority Class 1 Medical Certificate.
Proficiency in English corresponding to ICAO English level 5 or above.
