Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 250 hours total flight time is required. This threshold is primarily established to meet mandatory Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) qualification criteria. Candidates should note that the actual flight time required may vary based on specific operational needs and program demands.
- Type Rating: A specific type rating is not required for this position, as comprehensive type-specific training will be provided by the academy to the successful applicant.
- License Requirements: Applicants must hold a current and valid FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) license.
- Medical Certificate: Possession of a current FAA Class 2 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
