Recruitment Group: "Taipei/Taoyuan Group"

Training will be conducted at EVA Air's headquarters in Taoyuan City. Upon completion of training, primary flight bases will be Taoyuan International Airport and Taipei Songshan Airport.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must hold a Republic of China (Taiwan) National Identity Card.
  • Graduates from domestic or international tertiary institutions recognized by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan. Major is not restricted. Foreign diplomas require certification by Taiwan's overseas representative office.
  • Corrected vision of 0.8 or better.
  • Possess one of the following English proficiency test scores, with tests taken on or after August 1, 2023:
    • TOEIC: 600+
    • IELTS: 5+
    • TOEFL iBT: 64+
    • TOEFL ITP: 480+
    • Linguaskill: 150+
  • Proficiency in other foreign languages with valid certification is a plus.

Examination and Recruitment Flow

Applications will be reviewed, and eligible candidates will be notified via email regarding examination details. The process from examination notification to becoming a trainee flight attendant is as follows. Final selections will be made based on overall assessment and operational needs.

  • Initial Interview: Scheduled for August 30, 2025. Includes qualification review, poise evaluation, aptitude assessment, and pronunciation tests (English and Taiwanese dialect).
  • Candidates passing the initial interview will proceed to the following assessments on the same day:
    • Aptitude Test: Professional aptitude diagnosis.
    • Written Examination: Competency assessment.
  • Final Interview: Scheduled for September-October 2025. Includes Chinese and English interviews, followed by a briefing and test on Article 84-1 of the Labor Standards Act.
  • Medical Examination: Conducted at designated medical facilities.
  • Onboarding: Expected onboarding for training is in late 2025 or early 2026.

Required Documents for Examination

Please prepare the following documents for submission on the day of the initial interview. Incomplete submissions will lead to disqualification.

  • Graduation certificate. For foreign qualifications, certification from Taiwan's overseas representative office is required.
  • Academic transcripts for the entire academic year, including conduct grades.
  • Original English proficiency test score report meeting the required standards. Only physical score reports or certificates are accepted.
  • For male applicants: Discharge certificate, exemption certificate, or proof of reserve status.

Special Statement

  • Long-haul flights often exceed 12 hours and include overnight travel. Signing an agreement under Article 84-1 of the Labor Standards Act is legally required for duty. Flight duty times may be extended due to uncontrollable factors such as natural disasters, emergencies, or unforeseen events. Peak travel periods, including weekends and national holidays, necessitate flexible scheduling, and fixed days off may not always align with Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays. Intercontinental travel involves adjusting to time zone changes, which is an inherent aspect of the aviation industry and requires personal adaptation.
  • Successful candidates must be able to obtain necessary visas for all flight destinations served by EVA Air.
  • EVA Air has no partnerships with external job training institutions or agencies.
