Aviation Company - Captain (Global 6000 Vision)
Aviation Company is seeking a qualified and experienced Captain for a Part 91 operation based in Van Nuys, California. The Captain will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a Global 6000 Vision aircraft, accumulating approximately 400 flight hours annually. This is a full-time position. No contract positions will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with all Federal Aviation Regulations, company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3,500 hours total time.
- Minimum of 2,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
- Minimum of 1,000 hours Turbine time.
- ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) certificate required.
- Global 6000 Vision type rating preferred, with a minimum of 200 hours in type; however, candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered.
- Must reside within a two-hour drivable commute of Van Nuys, CA, or be willing to relocate. This is not a commutable position. Please indicate relocation interest and timeframe on your resume or cover letter.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Must be able to pass DOT/FAA drug screening and background checks, and submit to random drug/alcohol tests when required.
- Must provide full, legible, color copies of all FAA certificates (both sides), including Medical, as well as completion of a disclosure form, as part of the application process.
Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation range for this position is $285,000 - $310,000 annually. The company offers an upgraded compensation plan, fully paid medical/healthcare premium, and a matching 401(k) plan.
