Pilatus PC-12 Captain

The successful candidate will act as a Captain on the Pilatus PC-12 aircraft based in Toronto, ensuring flights are conducted safely. He/She will support daily operation activities on available reserve days and liaise with Chartright’s Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to meet operational and service requirements. Fostering a collaborative environment, the Captain will encourage co-workers to share ideas and solutions, provide direct customer service, and perform monthly training courses.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Captain on the Pilatus PC-12 aircraft based in Toronto.
- Ensure flights are conducted in a safe manner.
- Support daily operation activities on available reserve days.
- Liaise with Chartright’s Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to ensure all operational and service requirements are delivered.
- Foster an environment of collaboration and encourage an atmosphere where co-workers can share ideas, improvements, and solutions.
- Provide direct customer service to clients contributing to their exceptional client experience.
- Perform monthly training courses and other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Canadian ATPL.
- Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR rating.
- Valid Transport Canada Medical Certificate.
- Canadian Radio Telephone License.
- Minimum of 1500 hours total flight time.
- Minimum 500 multi-engine PIC hours; experience with a similar aircraft is preferred.
- A University degree or College diploma in Aviation is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Hands-on experience with flight management systems and glass cockpits.
- Strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, and weight and balance.
- Expert knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices.
- A positive mindset with the strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively build relationships across the organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional client service, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to support clients’ needs.
- Previous International flying experience (Europe & South America) is required.
- Previous time on type is preferred.
