A Flight Instructor position is available with Cirrus Aircraft at their Alcoa, Tennessee facility. This full-time, onsite role involves providing industry-leading, learner-centric flight training to Cirrus customers using Cirrus Aircraft SR model airplanes. The instructor will report to the Supervisor of Flight Operations.
About the Role

Provide comprehensive flight and ground instruction according to Cirrus policy and procedure documents.

Act as Pilot in Command of Cirrus aircraft for corporate flight operations, including demonstration, repositioning, and post-maintenance flights, as well as flight reviews and proficiency checks.

Maintain meticulous records of all training activities and student progress.

Identify and communicate pilot progression opportunities and recommend process improvements.

Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections, aircraft fueling, and chart subscription updates.

Continuously expand knowledge of Cirrus Aircraft product lines and serve as a model aviator and representative.

Enhance flight safety through high-quality, standardized instruction.
Requirements

One year of pilot experience is required.

A minimum of 350 dual given hours or 250 hours in Cirrus aircraft is necessary.

Possession of a current FAA Flight Instructor Certificate (CFII).

Specific ratings required: Airplane Single Engine and Instrument Airplane.

Hold a current FAA Pilot Certificate with Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land and Instrument Airplane ratings.

Maintain a current Second-class Airman Medical Certificate or higher.

Preferred experience includes IFR in congested airspace, mountain flying, extensive IMC, international flight, and night operations.
