Sales Support Pilot - Cirrus Aircraft - Pontiac, Michigan

Cirrus Aircraft is seeking a Sales Support Pilot to be based in Pontiac, Michigan. This role focuses on planning and conducting aircraft demonstrations, supporting regional events, and collaborating with Regional Sales Directors to develop their territories. The position involves customer-facing aviation demonstrations, prospecting, sales presentations, event strategy, logistics coordination, performance analysis, and post-event reporting. Extensive regional travel is required for this outgoing pilot who will build relationships and effectively communicate Cirrus products.

About the Role

• Plan and conduct aircraft demonstrations for potential clients.
• Support regional events and promotional activities.
• Assist Regional Sales Directors in territory development.
• Prospect and qualify retail customers by researching their needs and financial conditions.
• Develop leads in vertical and emerging markets.
• Utilize marketing technical sales and promotional resources.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Cirrus products.
• Coordinate logistics and execution of product demonstrations.
• Track and analyze event performance, providing recommendations for future events.
• Prepare post-event reports.
• Extensive travel is a requirement of the position.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or two to four years of experience in sales and marketing.
• An FAA Commercial Pilot Instrument Certificate.
• A second-class medical certificate.
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Proficiency with computer software and the internet.
• An outgoing personality with demonstrated relationship-building ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

• A Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) qualification is preferred.
• One year of prior sales or marketing experience is desired.
