Role Summary

The Flight Attendant is at the heart of Cathay Pacific's commitment to service excellence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute safety, first aid, and security protocols with unwavering precision and adherence to standards.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, providing genuine and personalized service to all customers.
  • Deliver exceptional inflight service by creating memorable experiences that exceed customer expectations.
  • Attend to customer needs with a caring, professional, and attentive manner.
  • Embrace diversity, showing consideration and support for all passengers, especially those requiring additional assistance.

  • Adapt to various situations with confidence, tact, and flexibility.
  • Adhere to all inflight policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Bachelor's degree or above; or high school graduate with at least 1 year of flight attendant experience.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Thai. A third language is preferred.
  • A valid TOEIC score of 325 for both reading and listening or a valid IELTS (Academic) result with an overall Band Score of 6.0 or above, taken on or after 01 May 2023. Those with valid scores as mentioned are exempted from the English assessment.*
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum arm-reach of 208 cm while on tiptoe.
  • Previous experience in an airline, hospitality, or service industry is highly advantageous.

Additional Requirements:

Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position, the successful candidate must meet the following criteria:

  • Successfully pass a pre-employment background check, including criminal record verification.
  • Demonstrate physical fitness to meet the requirements of the pre-employment medical assessment.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test, conducted according to the HKCAD Guidance for screening of Psychoactive Substances - Annex B.

Application Information

Selected candidates will be invited to attend an Assessment Day in Bangkok in February 2025, where all assessments will be conducted in one day. The estimated commencement date for successful candidates is during the second quarter of 2025. For candidates requiring a work permit to reside and work in Hong Kong, employment is conditional on immigration approval. Please consult the relevant immigration guidelines for further information.
