Minimum Requirements:
- Possession of an ICAO Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with a Multi Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR) and same state ATPL examinations credits. Licenses must be obtained without exemption or conversion.
- A valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above.
- A minimum total flying time of 1500 hours (3000 hours preferred) including:
- 500 hours as Pilot in Command Under Supervision (P1 U/S) or
- 250 hours as Pilot in Command (P1) or
- 250 hours as P1 or P1 U/S, including at least 70 hours as P1. (For detailed requirements regarding ATPL(A), please refer to HKCAD DCA607 and Important Notes).
- In addition to the above, candidates must also meet one of the following:
- A) 500 hours experience on civil aircraft certified for multi-crew operations with a Maximum Takeoff Weight (MTOW) exceeding 45,000 kg.
- B) 500 hours (including at least 250 P1 and/or P1 U/S hours) within the preceding 5 years, or 100 sectors within the preceding 5 years, on civil aircraft certified for multi-crew operations with an MTOW exceeding 10,000 kg, or aircraft certified and configured for more than 19 passengers.
Selection Process:
Shortlisted candidates will undergo a comprehensive pre-employment medical check, including an HKCAD Class 1 medical examination. Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, including criminal records verification, is also required.
