Minimum Experience Requirements for B787 Captains:

Candidates must meet the following minimum experience criteria:

• A total flight time of 7000 hours or more.
• A minimum of 5000 hours in total airline jet transport operations.
• At least 2500 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time on airline jet transport aircraft.
• A minimum of 1000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience specifically on the Boeing 787 (B787) aircraft type.
