First Officer (FO) AW139 - Den Helder

CHC is seeking a skilled and motivated First Officer to join operations in Den Helder, Netherlands. This full-time position involves flying the AW139 aircraft within a professional, high-performance environment, supporting critical missions while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will operate as part of an experienced crew on a fleet of five AW139 aircraft. This is a full-time, non-commuting position with a roster consisting of 9 duty days within a 14-day period. Shift patterns include early (06:15) and late (13:45) starts. During duty periods, pilots are required to reside within a 60-minute radius of the base.

Key Responsibilities

Operate AW139 aircraft safely and efficiently in accordance with all regulations and operational procedures.
Assist in the comprehensive preparation and planning of flights.
Collaborate with the flight crew to ensure mission readiness.
Maintain high standards of customer service for offshore, search and rescue, and emergency medical missions.
Ensure the continuous safety of the aircraft and passengers throughout all operations.
Support maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

Current EASA Class One Medical Certificate.
CPL(H) and IR(H) licenses.
Completed ATPL(H) theory.
Minimum of 200 hours of rotary-wing flying time.
English language proficiency (LPE minimum level 5).

Preferred Qualifications

EASA AW139, IR(H), Multi-Pilot type rating.
Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course certification.
