First Officer
AIS Airlines, a Dutch regional airline headquartered at Lelystad Airport in the Netherlands, is expanding its operations across Europe and is seeking to hire First Officers. AIS Airlines welcomes applications from former AIS students and external low-hour pilots. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an assessment at the AIS Airlines head office.
Job Description
This role involves supporting the flight operations of AIS Airlines as a First Officer. Successful external candidates will be required to complete an AIS Bridge Course to meet the necessary pilot standards prior to commencing a Type Rating Course for the Jetstream 31/32. Former AIS students are exempt from this requirement.
Minimum Requirements
- European Union (EU) citizenship or an unrestricted and unlimited work permit for the Netherlands, along with a valid passport without restrictions.
- Valid EASA Part-FCL Frozen ATPL (Multi-Engine Instrument Rating with Multi-Crew Cooperation). Both integrated and modularly trained pilots are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum English Language Proficiency (LPE) Level 5, endorsed on the license.
- Valid EASA Part-MED Class 1 medical certificate.
- Valid driver's license for cars.
- Ability to pass a security background check.
Additional Requirements

Candidates must be able to self-fund the following courses if applicable:
- AIS Bridge Course: €5,000 (for non-AIS candidates only).
- Type Rating Course Jetstream 31/32: €25,000.
Upon successful completion of the AIS Bridge Course and Type Rating Course, candidates are guaranteed an employment contract with AIS Airlines as a First Officer for a minimum period of one year.
