CAE Instructor Pilot
CAE seeks accomplished aviation professionals to join its team as Instructor Pilots, dedicated to fostering aviation excellence. The role involves delivering comprehensive flight simulator and ground school training, adhering to regulatory requirements, CAE's curriculum, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver flight simulator and ground school training in alignment with regulatory requirements, CAE curriculum, and customer expectations.

Conduct professional, comprehensive pre- and post-flight simulator briefings.

Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for client training and internal course development.

Perform administrative duties including completing training records, maintaining instructional qualifications, and recommending remedial training.

Provide instruction across one or more aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and internal qualifications.

Qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman following approximately 1.5+ years of service, subject to business needs.
Physical Requirements

Constantly ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.

Occasionally move into different positions, including confined spaces.

Remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods (standing or sitting).

Occasionally move about to accomplish tasks.

Occasionally move objects up to 20 lbs.
-
Occasionally perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, or fingers.
Minimum Qualifications

Unrestricted ATP certificate or completion of ATP Written exam.

Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and internet-based programs.

Participation in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Unrestricted PIC Type Rating.

FAR Part 135 experience and 3,000+ total flight hours.

Experience flying business aircraft.

Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching.

Prior instructional or training experience.

Ability to tailor training content to a diverse customer base.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accurate recordkeeping in accordance with CAE and FAA standards.

Demonstrated customer-service mindset and ability to create a positive learning environment.

Professional character with strong verbal and written communication skills.
