The Opportunity
CAE Flight Training invites applications from experienced and passionate Single-Engine Flight Instructors (Grade 1 or 2) to join its dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive flight training for single-engine aircraft students, guiding them from initial solo authorization through advanced training stages.
- Deliver engaging and informative Ground School instruction across various subjects, ranging from Private Pilot Licence (PPL) to Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) levels.
- Monitor and assess student progress diligently, ensuring adherence to established training objectives and aviation regulatory standards.
- Cultivate a professional, supportive, and culturally sensitive learning environment for a diverse student population, including international trainees.
- Maintain meticulous training records and ensure strict compliance with all operational procedures and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications
- Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) Grade 2 Training Endorsement or higher.
- Current Flight Instructor Proficiency Check.
- Night Training Endorsement (FIR NVFR).
- Current Night VFR Rating (with a valid flight review); or a current Command Instrument Rating.
- Demonstrated experience with 1st and 2nd solo authorisation procedures.
Highly Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) Design Feature Training (FIR DF) endorsement.
- Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) Instructor Rating Training (FIR FIR) endorsement.
- Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) Instrument Rating Training (FIR IR) endorsement.
- Experience providing training in G1000 avionics and Cessna 172 (C172) aircraft.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Ground School subjects from Private Pilot Licence (PPL) to Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
- Proven experience instructing international students, exhibiting cultural understanding and adaptability.
