CAE is seeking an experienced military helicopter simulator instructor to join its team at RAF Benson, Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will provide instruction on the Chinook platform, one of the most versatile helicopters in operation. This role offers the opportunity to train future military pilots on a state-of-the-art aircraft, utilizing advanced technology within immersive and realistic scenarios.
The Chinook Helicopter Simulator Instructor will be responsible for delivering training across the spectrum of the aircraft’s capabilities, techniques, and tactics, from type conversion for ab-initio students to mentoring experienced crews. This includes instruction in day and night operations. Collaboration, strong communication skills, and leadership qualities are essential. The role may also require operating the IOS/TCC on other aircraft types and delivering CBT/CAI instruction in the Ground school.
