CAE is seeking highly qualified Instructor Pilots to deliver exceptional flight training in a simulator and ground school setting. This role requires a commitment to adhering to regulatory guidelines, CAE-approved curriculum, and specific client needs. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding clients through their training programs and, after 1.5+ years, may be expected to qualify as a Training Center Evaluator and customer contract check airman. This position involves providing simulator, flight, or classroom instruction on assigned aircraft types for the issuance of licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications. The Instructor Pilot will also conduct comprehensive pre- and post-flight simulator briefings, complete training records, recommend remedial training, and track their instructional qualifications. Furthermore, the Instructor Pilot will act as a subject matter expert in the creation of curricula and courseware when required.

CAE is hiring Instructor Pilots for the following aircraft: Phenom, Learjet, Bombardier (Challenger and Global platforms), Gulfstream, Hawker, Beechjet, King Air, Citation, Falcon, and Embraer.

Candidates must hold, or meet the qualifications to receive, an unrestricted ATP certificate and possess at least one unrestricted PIC Type Rating. A passion for teaching with strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and participation in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program are essential. Experience flying business aircraft is beneficial. This position requires authorization to live and work in the United States.

The physical requirements of this role include the ability to perform tasks that demand hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills; sit in a confined space for 4-6 hours with limited breaks; stand for extended periods, up to 10 hours, with limited breaks; and sit, stoop, climb, and twist and turn.
