The Role:
The UAS Sensor Operator Instructor will play a vital role in developing and delivering comprehensive academic and simulator instruction. Utilizing extensive aviation experience, proven training expertise, and strong computer skills, the selected candidate will:
- Design, deliver, and maintain engaging multimedia and computer-assisted courseware packages.
- Provide exceptional customer-facing instruction, catering to the specific needs and requests of KFAA personnel.
- Deliver impactful UAS system training utilizing a variety of instructional aids, including multimedia presentations, system components, and advanced simulators.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in training delivery methods.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a military instructor pilot, holding a USAF specialty code "X", UK Airborne Instructor designation, or direct NATO equivalent.
- A minimum of 1500 hours of total sensor operator flying time, including 500 hours on a representative MALE UAS type.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience providing initial UAS instruction within a formal teaching environment.
- Fluency in English, demonstrated by native speaker proficiency or ICAO Level 5 (Extended) Aviation English certification.
- Exceptional pedagogical skills and a strong understanding of effective academic instructional techniques.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in the Middle East region.
- Proven ability to effectively instruct non-native English speakers.
- Demonstrated experience in courseware development utilizing UK JSP822/ADDIE methodologies.
Additional Requirements:
- The successful candidate must be eligible to obtain an employment visa for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
