CRJ Simulator Instructor Pilot

CAE, the worldwide leader in aviation training, is seeking a dedicated CRJ Simulator Instructor Pilot to join its esteemed team in Phoenix, AZ. The Instructor Pilot will inspire trust and mastery through expert guidance during simulator sessions and pre-flight briefings, playing a crucial role in the pursuit of aviation excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive initial, transition, upgrade, and recurrent flight training in strict adherence to FAA, Transport Canada, and Company policies and procedures.
- Deliver flight training in accordance with the CAE 14 CFR 142 Manual.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all required training and/or checks.
- Maintain required proficiency as an Instructor, as stipulated by 14 CFR 142.
- Actively promote and reinforce Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles.
- Monitor and provide support for administrative programs across all flight training domains as needed.
- Complete daily pre-training checks to ensure operational readiness.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the Training Manager.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience as a simulator instructor in transport category airplanes is preferred.
- FAA ATPL & CRJ 200/900 Type Ratings are strongly preferred.
- Possession of at least 2 years of FAR Part 121 and/or CAR 705 experience as a flight crew officer.
- Aeronautical experience meeting the requirements of 14 CFR 61.159.
- Prior satisfaction of initial instructor/evaluator training requirements before initial accreditation.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- Proficiency in PC computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
- Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
