CRJ Simulator Instructor Pilot - Phoenix, AZ
CAE, the global leader in aviation training, seeks a highly skilled and experienced CRJ Simulator Instructor Pilot to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive flight training for initial, transition, upgrade, and recurrent programs adhering to strict FAA, Transport Canada, and CAE policies and procedures.
- Conduct flight training sessions in accordance with the CAE 14 CFR 142 Manual.
- Ensure meticulous documentation of all training and/or checks.
- Maintain proficiency as an Instructor, complying with 14 CFR 142 regulations.
- Foster the effective application of crew resource management (CRM) principles.
- Actively participate in administrative programs related to flight training as required.
- Perform daily pre-training checks diligently.
- Embrace other duties as assigned by the Training Manager.
Qualifications Required:
- Demonstrated experience as a simulator instructor in transport category airplanes.
- Possession of a FAA ATPL and CRJ 200/900 type ratings.
- Prior experience as a flight crew officer under FAR 121 and/or CAR 705 regulations.
- Proven aeronautical experience meeting the criteria outlined in 14 CFR 61.159.
- Successful completion of initial instructor/evaluator training requirements prior to initial accreditation.
- Adaptability to flexible work hours, including mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
- Proficiency in PC computer skills, encompassing Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
- Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
