CAE, the world leader in training aviation professionals, is seeking experienced CRJ Instructor Pilots to join its esteemed team in Toronto. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the highest standards of aviation training using cutting-edge simulation and ground school technologies.

Responsibilities:

The CRJ Instructor Pilot will be responsible for delivering top-tier instruction across initial, transition, upgrade, and recurrent flight training programs. This includes:

• Providing engaging and effective instruction in accordance with FAA, Transport Canada, and CAE policies and procedures.
• Utilizing the CAE 14 CFR142 Manual as the foundation for all flight training activities.
• Ensuring meticulous documentation of all training and evaluation exercises.
• Maintaining personal instructional proficiency as mandated by 14 CFR 142 regulations.
• Championing crew resource management (CRM) principles throughout all training phases.
• Collaborating in administrative tasks related to flight training programs as required.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of technical expertise, instructional prowess, and a commitment to aviation safety. Required qualifications include:

• FAA ATP or Transport Canada ATPL license with a valid CRJ type rating.
• Successful completion of initial instructor/evaluator training requirements prior to accreditation.
• Demonstrated excellence in presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Superior verbal and written communication abilities.
• Adaptability to a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Minimum commitment of 5 days per month to CAE.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a flight crew member under FAR 121 and/or CAR 705 regulations.
• Proven experience as a simulator instructor for transport category aircraft.
