CAE is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global 6500 Instructor Pilot to join its dedicated team in Las Vegas. The Instructor Pilot is instrumental in preparing pilots for critical moments by delivering comprehensive flight training in state-of-the-art simulators and through engaging ground school sessions.

Responsibilities
The Instructor Pilot is responsible for the exemplary delivery of flight training, acting as a subject matter expert and guiding clients through their comprehensive training journey. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing simulator/flight or classroom instruction on assigned aircraft types for the issuance of licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications.
- Conducting thorough and professional pre and post-flight simulator briefings in accordance with CAE standards.
- Performing essential administrative duties, such as completing training records, recommending remedial training when necessary, and tracking personal instructional qualifications and activity.
- Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) in the creation of curricula and courseware as required.
- Qualifying as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman after 1.5+ years, based on business needs.
Qualifications
Prospective candidates should possess a robust background in aviation instruction and meet the following criteria:
Education & Experience:
- A High School diploma or state-issued equivalent is required; an Associate or college degree is preferred.
- 2-5 years of job-relevant experience in aviation.
- Previous experience in teaching or training others is highly preferred.
- A proven track record demonstrating a strong customer service orientation in work assignments.
- Must be authorized to live and work in the United States.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and other internet-based programs.
- Must be able to participate in CAE’s DOT Anti-Drug & Alcohol testing program.
Pilot Certifications & Flight Time:
- Holds or has held a professional pilot’s license.
- An existing instructor qualification or type rating is preferred.
- FAR Part 135 experience and 3,000 hours of total flight time are preferred.
- Possession of an unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
The role entails certain physical demands, including:
- The physical dexterity required for tasks involving hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Ability to sit in a confined space for 4-6 hours at a time with limited breaks.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours) with limited breaks.
- Ability to sit, stoop, climb, twist, and turn.
