This pivotal role involves delivering comprehensive simulator and ground instruction for the Cessna Citation Mustang, ensuring that aviation professionals achieve and maintain the highest standards of operational proficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced simulator flight training for Cessna Citation Mustang pilots, encompassing normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures.
- Deliver engaging and in-depth ground school instruction on aircraft systems, performance, regulations, and airmanship pertinent to the Cessna Citation Mustang.
- Evaluate pilot performance meticulously, providing constructive feedback and tailored guidance for skill enhancement.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of training curricula and materials, maintaining industry best practices.
- Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping of all training activities and pilot qualifications.
- Uphold strict adherence to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company policies, and SIMCOM's rigorous safety standards.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Current FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument (CFII) ratings are essential.
- A Type Rating in the Cessna Citation Mustang is highly preferred; significant experience as a pilot or instructor in similar light jet aircraft will also be considered.
- Extensive experience as an instructor pilot, with a strong background in simulator-based training environments.
- Demonstrated exceptional communication, interpersonal, and instructional skills.
