Brussels Airlines is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for talented individuals seeking a fulfilling career as an airline pilot. For the first time in its history, the airline is opening vacancies for cadet pilots. After an intensive 19-month training program conducted by Skywings Flight Training, successful candidates will join the ranks of Brussels Airlines as First Officers, safely transporting passengers across Europe aboard the Airbus A320 fleet.
This program welcomes ambitious team players who are eager to learn, persevere, and perform under pressure. Prior flying experience or aviation knowledge is not required. To be considered, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Successful cadets will commence their 19-month flight training program at Skywings Flight Training, located at Antwerp Airport. Upon completion, trainees will hold an "EASA MPL License" with a type rating on the Airbus A320. This MPL license will evolve into an ATPL license after accumulating 1500 flight hours, along with meeting all experience and competence requirements.
This full-time program demands complete dedication and cannot be combined with other activities, such as part-time employment. While the program prioritizes rest days, it is not conducive to extended vacation periods. Training occasionally takes place during weekends and outside of regular office hours.
The primary training base is at the Skywings Flight Training campus in Antwerp, with a portion of the program potentially conducted in a fair-weather base near Alicante, Spain. In such instances, accommodation and transportation are included in the program fee. Accommodation and transportation costs in Belgium are the responsibility of the candidate.
Upon successful program completion, graduates will receive a contract as a First Officer for Brussels Airlines and be scheduled for their initial passenger flights. A training captain (line training period) will provide coaching and support during the first months, guiding pilots in real-world operational environments. A final, practical assessment known as the "line check" will occur after the line training period. Passing the line check signifies full qualification as a First Officer.
This partially sponsored training program has a cost of €99,500 (VAT inclusive) payable in three installments. The fee covers all training costs except for:
